Does it add 2 days or move 2 days from the weekend to weekdays?

This is the details of the issue in question. 21st to 27th is 7 days, 2 of which is over the weekend, which leaves 5 working days, and is estimated for 5 days. Yet in the gant chart, the bar goes on to the 29th Nov.

I see. The gantt looks at the dates only and plots them accordingly. If it falls on a weekend, it moves to the next week. That is configurable.

 

 

How is this configured? I couldn't see anything obvious in the web config file?

However, now the weekends are shown, which i guess is logical since SkipWeekends = false implies that weekends are shown. Can someone please explain the current logic?  Why does gemini add on days for the weekends? If i give it a start and end date, surely I have done this for a reason? why would I want it to add extra days for me?

Because you have told the Gantt that you are not working over weekends. Now you've told it you are...

Thats not what i meant, I do not work weekends, so when i entered 21st nov to 27th nov i would expect it to draw the time line from 21st to 27th and exclude weekends by default. I know some people will want to include weekends but in either case i dont understand why it would add extra days on outside of the dates i specified?

can it not ingore weekends and only book time up until the date i give it?
