Yes you can load balance the web application across two web servers.

You will have to switch ASP.NET Session state to use SQl Server and update web.config files on both servers.

As for SQL Server, this can also be done.  But this is not Gemini specific.

Yes, but you will have to set the enforce Gemini url setting to NO.
