Hello,

If user1 is in the global group 'Gemini Administrator', he can change the issue status.

But if user1 isn't in the the global group Gemini Administrator he can't change the status.

Which point i have to add that every user can change the issue status?

This is done it 2 places:

  • Security scheme - update issue progress
  • Issue workflow setup, for each status you can specify the user group that can move from that status.

Hello,

I uninstalled gemini and deleted the sql database.

After that I installed it again and created a neu sampleDB.

It works very well with the default users.

And a new Global Group called Sachbearbeiter (It's german, and the same as Worker) Now I create a new user. I make shure that the new user is part of Sachbearbeiter.

I go to the security scheme and make shure that Sachbearbeiter have exactly the same rights as Developers.

I go to Workflow and make a copy of Default Workflow. I edit it and replace Developers with Sachbearbeiter.

I go to Field Visibility Schemes and make a copy of Issues List Visibility Scheme and edit it and replace Developer with Sachbearbeiter

Now I think Sachbearbeiter is exactly the same permissons as Developer, right?

I create a new project and select the new workflow and the new security scheme.

I login with the new user. I see all the projects.

I create a new Issue in the new project.

Now I open the new created Issue but I can't edit the status or the resolution...

I can't work with the version 3.5.

Have you got a solution for this issue?

Best regards

mik

Are you sure that you have allowed the new group to see the status and resolution when editing an issue?

mik,

Best to send an email to our support email address and we will arrange for one of the team to remotely access your box and help you out.

I am sure it is something very simple/subtle!

Do you see the field when editing? If not, please check the field visibility scheme for edit mode.

More details for the no status change problem:

  • user is in a global Group 'Dev'
  • The Projekt 'Dev Proj' hat a Security Scheme 'Dev Scheme' (also a workflow and issue visibility scheme)
  • Dev Scheme has the right for the Dev Group:

View Project Assignable To Issues View Documents Manage Documents Administer Issues Create Issue Edit Issue (to edit the issue) Edit Own Issue Assign Version Close Issues Resolve Issues Link Issue Create Comment Edit Comment Edit Own Comment Assign Resource Update Issue Progress (to change the status)

where ist the Problem?

Please check your issue workflow settings. Make sure that for the status in question your user group is allowed to change from it.
