What are you using for sending the alerts (scheduler or plugin)? If scheduler, did you install it? Any errors in the logs (windows and Gemini)? |

I have tried with them both. Scheduler and plugin. none are working. Only message I am getting is "Access to the path 'C:\GeminiSMTPLog.txt' is denied." when SMTP service Verbose loggin is enenabled. |

If I want to save 'C:\GeminiSMTPLog.txt' to 'C:\temp\GeminiSMTPLog.txt' how can I do it? I could not find any setting in web, config |

Not possible to change path unless you have source code license. |

to work around this. Which user account do we need to give access to that particular file ? |

To the user under which the service is running, usually local service |

Do you get any other exceptions? Please check firewall and spam filter as the emails might be blocked. |

Hi there, |

This depends on the option for alerts, are you using the scheduler? |

Yes .. i am using the scheduler. Installed it a few days ago. |

Remeber that the scheduler is probably running under different credentials from the web app so it might be a firewall / spam issue. Also, are there any errors in the windows event log (on the server that the scheduler is installed)? |

The Windows Event Log says "Error testing connectivity/authentication to client http://localhost:81/trackingtool/webservices.". The Scheduler is running under "local System account", that is the administrator. I also tried givinvg "everyone" the rights to access the webservices-folder ... still the same error. |

Please double check the URL in the config file (looks like a "." at the end of it?). Also, have you got WSE 3.0 installed on the web server? |

Yes ... it actually were the WSE 3.0. I just had the 2.0 installed. Many thanks for your help! |
