Company (Client) Level Security
I love your product although there is one thing missing for a company like mine. The ability to have multiple clients.
For example.
We have many clients such as GM, ReMAXX, Prudential and so on. Each company uses different products of ours. We would like to have each company have users that could log in and see only products and tickets that relate to thier company. Then when we log in we could see the user that submitted the ticket and what company they were from as well as the product.
Are you planning on adding this layer of organization and security at any time? At this point you do everything we need other then the level with the Company. We don;t want users that are on one company seeing tickets from another company although from the admin login perspective we would like to attach 2 tickets from 2 users in different companies to a single issue.
Has anyone else request somthing such as this?

I see. You would like to have user grouops, and each group can see the issues that they have submitted. Is that the case? |

That is correct. As well as the ability to set groups to only be able to submit support tickets on products that they use. and the ability to merge multiple ticket no matter the group into 1 issue. All in all the ability to create groups would be greate in itself. Is that something that seems unusual or is it something that you could see getting added?
thank you for your response. jason |

We did not have such request before. Can you please clarify what is regarded as a "product"? is that a component or a project? |

I'm sorry. In our company we have many software products that we offer. Some companies (groups) use different ones. When they submitted a ticket we would want to know what product they were submitting it for. I would assume that a "product" would be a component in your system although i am not sure.

Hi, I think we have the same need. At the moment we open a project for every customer and each product he has during project phase and afterwards. For the standard development we have an additonal project which our customers cannot see. I would like to see as well the possibility to just have one project for our product and our customers can only see the issues they created and not those of other customers. I saw in the roadmap for 2.1 that you are planning the possibility to group projects together. I think that would help. Will this be realized in 2.1? Christian |

This is not going to be in 2.1. Seems like it will be pushed for 2.2. Can you please log a request on http://gemini.countersoft.com Put a link to this thread. |

SaaeCohen, When would you expect 2.2 to come out? I'm sure you don’t have a hard date although a rough idea is more what I am looking for. That is the only thing that is making me hesitate the purchase of it.

We are evaluating Gemini and found the product very good but it lacks the features described by JsonTerre1 in his first post. |

Can you make it so that a Group can only see certain projects and different users are attached to that group? Thank you j |
