How can I import my bugs from Bugzilla into Gemini? Is there a simple solution?

The best way is to use Gemini web services. You can use our import utility app to do this. You will have to create bugzilla export classes, but it is very simple.

You will have to write classes the export projects, components, versions and issues from Bugzilla.

The source code is provided with the app.

I have the same question. There is nothing at all in the documentation about the importer and the code isn't commented. I really like Gemini a lot but the importer really has me stumped. There isn't even a readme on how to install it! Could you put a little more info about the importer here or into the FAQ? Anything at all would help. Maybe just an overview of what the code and it's classes do?

For my own purposes, I have large xls spreadsheets of issues relating to a project. I already have the project set up in Gemini, I just need to go through the spreadsheet line by line and add each line as an issue. Is there an easy way to automate this process to get it into the database? Maybe some bulk issue loader?

Okay, I can't help with the Bugzilla part, but I think I understand the best way to import data now, using the Web Services interface. I think I can use the code from the WebServices example app to create the importer for excel.

Thanks again for a great application at an astonishingly reasonable price!

Thanks for the good feedback. We will add comments and a readme file to the import utility soon.
