Is there a way to give more than one status the "state type" of assigned?

I want to have status values of "In Development" and "In Test" but currently Gemini will only allow me to give one of these values the State Type of assigned. I want them both to have a state type of assigned.

This is not possible at the moment.

I would also like to be able to assign the state type of "CLOSED" to more than one status i.e. "Released to Live" and "Cancelled".

Is this functionality being considered for a future release?
