Internal messages in issue have to be invisible for the customer

Hello frieds!

Could you say me if it is possible to hide 'internal' messages within the single issue?

For example we have a request from cutomer to fix the bug posted as a new issue. After that there are 10+ internal messages (internal inverstigation, discussings between our stuff and so on on the subject of the issue) within the same issue, which have to be invivsible for the customer, and one more message with a our decision which have to be visible for the customer.

How the implement the scenario?

You need to post all your internal comments as private and not allow the customer to view private.

Is there some other way to do this?

Seems like the private is pretty useless.  Anyone with a "private" field can view ALL the private messages.

I would have thought it would be private to admins and that user.  The user should be able to see their private issues, but not another user.

We have a product that a lot of users submit their source code to us to figure out why certain things happen.  I have to be able to keep that source code private between us and the user or they won't post it (and I can't help them).

How can I acheive this?  I really like the product, but this will be a killer for us.

Jason,   For 2.3 release (about 4-8 weeks away), we hope to provide the ability for people to set an option that only allows users to view their own issues. This should support scenarios where people want to use Gemini as "help desk": customer logs into Gemini and views their own issues only!   Does this make sense?

Yes, although 2.3 has been renamed to 3.0 and is out soon.
