Custom Reporting

I am curious what the best or recommended way of creating custom reports for Gemini is. I am thinking of creating the reports in Crystal and then adding a link to the reports in Gemini. I would like to hear what others are doing and what is recommended by CounterSoft.

Also, I have seen in different threads the mention of a report designer, but the threads are dated to about a year ago and mentioned v2.2. Any update on this, is this something that is being considered still?

Hi Lou,

Version 3.0 (beta out soon) utilises Telerik Reporting. This will allow people who have the Gemini product source code to create custom reports using Telerik Report Designer (Visual Studio Add-in) and publish.

Moving forwards, we will be looking at other means to "drop in" reports.

At the moment this is only possible by purchasing the source code.

We are looking at other ways of creating custom reports for 3.5.
