Using Gemini for Change Control Boards (CCB) -

I have been able to configure resources as a "view" to create to list of people who can be required to vote on an issue --- BUT

Issue history DOES NOT record changes to custom data fields -

This means that a record of who was selected, and when they entered their vote IS NOT RECORDED IN ISSUE HISTORY.

?

Any suggestions, help with this?

Hi, Yarko,

Yes, you can amend the gemini_savecustomfielddata stored procedure to insert a row into the issuehistory table every time it is called.

This seems to be a BAD choice:  if I could selectively update the history, based on custom data fields that changed (something akin to what geminiupdateissue does) then this might be ok.

As it is (for CCB's) there are (currently) 28 custom data items, and so FOR EACH issue modification, putting this in geminisavecustomfielddata  results in 28 NEW HISTORY ENTRIES!!!

Belch!

Any other ideas?

The only way ot make this work for you seems to be if you did a DELTA to see what differences are, and only logged those.
