Drop down list vs. Select Box
Since we've updated from 2.1.1 to 2.2.6 some drop down lists changed to select boxes (e.g. component, affected versions, assigned resources)
In our company we some users, which still like the drop down lists, and some users which think the select box is more convenient.
1.) Why has this been changed?
2.) Do you have any arguments for the select box instead of the dropdown list?
3.) And is there a possibility to change it back to dropdown lists?

This has changed because we now allow you to assign multiple resources, versions etc.. to the issue. Drop down list can not do this.

For versions it work, but not for Components and not for Resources. There I can only select one item. We just upgraded to Gemini 2.2.6. I also checked this at: http://gemini.countersoft.com/issue/CreateIssue.aspx?PROJID=2

This is per project setting (multi select or not). |

Just interested in: "Would it be easy possible to change the "resource and components" to drop down lists (as it was in 2.1.1) instead of multi select box? |

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. Feel free to add it to our list: http://gemini.countersoft.com
