.Net 2.0 Framework compatibility for Gemini
I just heard that Gemini does not support .Net 2.0 at the moment.
We got a new server where I guess .Net 2.0 was already installed (how ever).
- What problems could occur when using .Net 2.0?
- When will Gemini be .Net 2.0 compatible?
- Would it make sense to install .Net 1.1 to run 1.1 and 2.0 side by side? If so, how can we point Gemini to use 1.1 instead of 2.0?
Thanks in advance

Usually, Gemini doesn't start up on 2.0. What people do is install 1.1 side by side with 2.0 and configure Gemini to run with 1.1. |

And when will this support be available? Because I have a Win2003 Server x64 that only can use .NET 2.0. |

Have you ever tried to run Gemini 2.0.3 on Win2003 x64 with Net 2.0? We've already successfully moved Gemini to our new Webserver Win2003 Server x64 that only can use .NET 2.0. and it works.

Yes I have ... and it mainly works. Sometimes I get some object reference errors ... and I do not know if this comes from .net 2.0 or from something else. |

We expect to release a .NET 2.0 version by the end of the year. |

Is there any news on this? (Seeing as we are in the new year?) |

We were due to release a BETA before the new year, but during QA we have found some issues that will need to resolved before it can go out. We expect it to be out very soon, hopefully release by the end of the month. |
