Check the system log for what? I had already checked the system log. The last entry was at the end of December.

ANSWER

Are you uusing the mail plugin or scheduler for emails (Administration -> Notifications)? If it is the scheduler please check the application log for errors (event viewer).

We use the scheduler. I checked the log. I found two errors -- problems compiling the mail templates. One of the html mail templates was corrupted. I replaced it with a known good version. Fortunately this was in the test system. Thanks.
