AppNav cards: notification problems with multiple projects-cards

I don't get notifications or badge counter increments on some AppNav cards, at least those that have multiple or "ALL" projects included in the card's query in Gemini v5.1.2.3579. In such a case, no entry appears to be in Gemini's error log. AppNav cards that address only one project seem not to have these problems.

We cannot seem to replicate this. Are you sure that the filter used is affected?

No, I'm not sure that multiple projects filters are the reason for the missbehaviour. Having included multiple projects in the filter is the only property that the faulty cards have in common from my point of view. But the problem might also come from the same reason as the exceptions that we get in planner; see my other question here. Maybe you can have a look at it as well while checking our database, as offered in the other question. I will add a remark to this additional problem in my email.
