Countersoft Gemini Active Directory Process error

security
api

Getting an error in the eventlog from Countersoft Gemini Active Directory Process every hour.

Countersoft.Gemini.Api - {"Message":"The requested resource does not support http method 'DELETE'."} -

There doesn't appear to be any more info than that to go on.

Do you use AD? Does the sync work?

We use AD, I have entered my settings, checked the credentials have read access.

I have never successfully managed to get AD syncing working so I'm not exactly sure what the end result should be. I can add AD groups to permissions in Gemini but I don't see any users coming through.

When starting the service, the checks all pass but there are no obvious messages to any sync starting, running or completing and there is no method I know of to manually start it.

It all seems a bit like a dark art IMO and could be documented much better. But I'm still getting the error message every hour so I assume that it tries to sync at hourly intervals.

Yes, it's a live deploy. Should I raise a support ticket instead?

Do you see any AD groups at all (when editing a project group in Gemini)?

Yes, I can see windows groups when editing

Gemini > Configuration > Users > Permissions

Still do not see any user's syncing through and still getting the error logged every hour.

Users will not be imported until you associate AD groups with Gemini groups.
