How do I restore the SENTRY template
Prior to understanding that the "Testing and QA Management" was a special setup for the SENTRY test module I modified it for my own purposes. I would like to restore this template to it's factory install configuration so I can use it as intended. How do I do this?
If I export the template I get a template.manifest file that shows my changes but the template.manifest file on the server App_Data\templates\SENTRY shows that it already is the original file from the install. Are my changes actually in the DB?
Thanks, Justin

Yes, your changes are saved in the database. What have you modified exactly? |

I changed issue types, custom fields, screens, workflows, status, and resolutions. Is my best bet to just restore my database to a version before I made the changes? |

I have actually managed to get the test functionality working, with the exception of Items Tested. The search does not appear to be happening. |

Make sure that the gemini_issuetypes table (case record) has the Tag field set to CASE |

Ok I was able to get Test Plans and Cases working in the "Testing..." template (the item types that were tagged as PLAN and CASE in the geminiissuetypes table were still intact). However, I really want the Test Plan and Test Case to live in my agile project template. I added new Test Plan and Test Case issue types and manually set the tags to PLAN and CASE in the geminiissuetypes table. Unfortunately, when I try to create a new Test Plan or Test Case in my agile project it fails, and always reverts to a Story. Is there something else that is "special" about the "Testing..." template that supports SENTRy? If so, can I add additional agile issue types here (Story, Bug, etc.) and make this the template for my Agile development process? Thanks, Justin |

What do you mean by "it fails"? Do you get an error? |

the new issue spontaneously converts itself to a Story after creation. Then after I try editing it and changing the issue type back to a Test Plan it will always switch itself back to a Story. |

Can you check your default values for TestPlan? |

Nothing has been intentionally set by me for Default Values in either the original PLAN in the SENTRY template or in my new issue type. Should there be? |

Unfortunately I can't do this because the database contains ITAR controlled technical data. Is there any other option? |

Not really as we need to see what is going on? Can you not create a backup and update all data to "x" for example? |
