Raised By field ignored?

Hi,

I'm trying to import some data into Gemini using fixed format spreadsheet with the Import tool, and although the Rasied By column is filled in correctly in the preview pane in the import tool, when I import the data all the issues are flagged as 'Reported By' me.

I can't see 'Raised By' anywhere in Gemini?

Any help appreciated.

Gemini will try to match the raised by with current list of Gemini users. Make sure those users exist in Gemini.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The users are set up in Gemini.

Also the 'Assigned To' field is not being populated so I must be doing something wrong.

In the issues preview pane of the import tool the 'Raised By' and 'Assigned To' fields are filled in with the correct username, however when the issue is imported, it's reported by me and assigned to blank.

If it is blank (assigned to), it is becuase the username does not exist in Gemini.
Gemini will try to match the reported by (raised by) field against the Gemini username, if it doesn't find it then it will set the logged in user as the reporter.

Aer you sure that the username matches? If it is then please send your file to support at countersoft dot com.

Which version of Gemini are you running?

Hi,

I've checked the username and it is set up. I've forwarded the file on to you as requested.

Interestingly, I clicked on the 'Verify Username' button in the user setup and now I have an 'assigned to' user OK, but it is still reported by me.
