How do you restore the Gemini database?
I have inherited our Gemini application and know next to nothing about it. Around 2 weeks ago the Admin Team put on some "critical updates" to the server Gemini is accessed from. Since then Gemini quit working. I have attached a log file but do not know what I'm looking at. Could some one point me in the right direction? I do have a Sql DB co-worker that can help me restore the DB if need, I'm looking for the original Gemini software that was purchase to reinstall application if necessary. Any help is appreciated. This is the error in the Application log on the server where Gemini is loaded. I had our SQL DB Admin look at the SQL DB and it appears to be fine, users just can't login to Gemini? System.Web.Services - The security token could not be authenticated or authorized ---> cannot open connection ---> An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. Please check that the connection string in the web.config file of Gemini is correct (server, database, username and password). Also, make sure that TCP/IP is enabled in SQL. |
