Set field visiblity\edit rights???

I know throught the screens one can specify who has rights to specific fields. Is it possible to specify who can view and who can edit? I.e. I want users to be able to view the assigned resources, however I do not want to allow them to edit the resources.

Yes, use 2 screens one for view and the other for edit for the relevant types.

Hi Saar, Will that help if I want to allow the user to edit some fields but not others? Say they should be able to change the status but only view the resources.

Yes, you can do that as well. Simply set the edit screen to show the relevant fields for the relevant groups.
