Visibility change displays number instead of group names
Hi all,
we are using the Scheduler Service to send mails. Since some times it stopped showing the changes in visibility properly. Instead of showing the group names, it shows this
Visibility changed from 12 to 23
We customized the templates a bit, but this should not effect this.
Any suggestions how to fix this?
Thx in advance Daniel

What did you change? There is no reason for the visibility to show ids unless that is the name of your visibility group. |

We edited the html templates. Formatting, Font style. No intervention in the scheduler itself. |

Doule check your templates as that is the only thing that will go wrong! Can you deploy the default templates to test? |

Ok, I will try with the default ones again, and double check the edited ones. Thx for your fast replies. |

Hi all, so I switched back to the default templates, result is still the same. The Scheduler Service send out a mail with: Change Log
Field Previous Value Current Value From the dropdown I can still see the names of the Groups. Any ideas where the service is taking the numbers from? |

Got you, it is the change log only, correct? At the moment, it will only show the ids. |

Yes, it is the change log. I checked a bit more in details. The affected field in the database is geminiissues.visibility that gets the IDs from the lookup table geminiglobalgroupmembership. There is not a database constraint between these two fields. Will future versions of the Scheduler put the Description to be shown instead of the ID? Sorry for the confusion, I assumed it used the show the Description before we edited the hmtl templates. |

Yes, in Gemini 5 (April 2012) we will put the text in the change log. |
