Invalid Gemini Url
I am trying to set up one of the plug-ins for Outlook or Visual studio and I keep getting Invalid Url's.
Can I get a better description of what I am doing wrong?

Check the app.log file under the %appdata%\countersoft folder. Which version of Gemini? Note that you need the url part only (eg http://my server/gemini) |

4.1.1 |

What is the url you are typing? Did you check the log file for errors? Are you using the same version as the web site does? |

I confirmed both the Server and my system are running the 4.1.1 versions. The log on my system (%appdata%/countersoft) was empty. I can access the web portal of Gemini through http://tracker.ravenind.com This is what I used in the plug-in but it still gave me the error. I also tried the Network IP address directly but it returned the same error. Is there a setting on the server I should check? |

When you type that url to a browser do you have to login (windows authentication)? |

yes. I have tried in the plug-in both windows auth and manually entering it. |

But when using a browser do you have to login? Are you using windows authentication? |

yes windows Authentication. |

Ok, so when you login via a browser do you get a popup to enter your credentials? Also, check that anonymous access is disbaled in IIS for the Gemini site. |

ANSWER
FIXED: the IT department failed to inform me they forward traffic to that site via port 8080. Thanks, |
