Hi, I have an issue with converse. I get the following message and error when I test the mail setup:

It might be due to firewall blocking the connection, can you check that?

According to the msg above it was connecting successfully. If it would be a firewall issue it couldn't read the messages from inbox? Is there any other ports needed, I used IMAP Server Port 993 and SMTP Server Port 587.

The message refers to the SMTP settings not the IMAP.

I checked with the sys admin team the firewall is not blocking the connection.

Did you double check your SMTP settings? Do you require SSL for SMTP?
