Converse Mailbox Setup

testing

converse

We have a 30 day trial of Converse and I'm having issues with the Mailbox Setup using IMAP. When I click the test link I get the follwing email:

[Gemini] Found 4 Messages. Test SMTP Message

Based on this I'd assume any emails sent to this address will be created as tickets in Gemini. However, this doesn't seem to be the case. Any ideas?

Did you install the Gemini scheduler 4.2? If so are there any errors in the windows application log (event viewer) from it?

Thanks Saar!

Sorry, I didn't realise Gemini Scheduler had to be installed. I've installed this, but get the error below. I think this might have something to do with our Exchange/Firewall config. My network admin is looking into it. I'll post an update shortly.

The socket object used by MailBee was unexpectedly closed. InnerException message follows: Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Seems like a firewall issue.

Doesn't look like it was a firewall issue. We enabled "imap fast message retrieval" and no longer get this error.

However, tickets still aren't being created when I send emails to the configured account. When I run the "test" I get the following message:

[Gemini] Found 5 Messages. Test SMTP Message

Any ideas? J

What is your email server? Exchange?

Can you set Administration -> SMTP debug mode to yes and restart the service? Check event viewer please.
