How to edit the source code (.cs file)
Hi there,
I've installed the 4.1 source code and wanted to edit a code-behind file without success. Is there anything I need to change in the web.config?
I saw in the designer file "to modify move field declaration from designer file to code-behind file" Is this the process? I tried but it didn't work neither.
Thanks, your help is much appreciated.

Did you download the Gemini source code? It comes with a VS2010 solution file, open it. |

Yes I did download the source code but when I edit the code it doesn't compile in the front end. So any change to a cs file is not reflected. |

Did you open the solution and compile it? What error do you get? |

No I didn't. Do I really need VS2010? |

You need to open it using Visual Studio to compile it. |

I'll give it a shot with VS2005 |

Looks like I can't compile the solution file with VS2005. I really need Visual Studio 2010 right? |

Yes, 2010 will do it. |
