Gemini Scheduler Service - Memory Leak

Hi,

after some months the Gemini Scheduler Service seems to have some memory leaks. The service uses about 600MB memory.

CounterSoft Gemini Scheduler version 3.0.4.2026.

CounterSoft Gemini Commons version 3.0.4.2026.

Please can you fix this? (Maybe this software helps you: http://memprofiler.com/)

This should be fixed with the latest version of the scheduler. Unfortunately I do not think it will work with 3.0.4.

Are you able to upgrade?

Hi Mark,

we are able to upgrade but we don´t want to do it. Our last update from 2.2.x to 3.1.0 takes over 3 days (with the migration manual) until all security issues was set like before. After this we tried an update from 3.1.0 to 3.1.x but this failed because some functions doesn´t work correctly (some issues couldn´t be displayed).

This "updating experience" was really hard for us and so we prefer a simple batch script to restart the service every night.

I agree with your point regarding the upgrade from 2.x. But the upgrade from 3.0.x to 3.1.x is very simple and should not take more than 10 minutes.

Can you please explian further the issues with it?
