To organize a program with plugins in Gemini

web-app

Hello all,

I would like to know how you will organize a program (software) with plugins inside Gemini.

  • Would you create one project for the program and a component for each plugin? So each plugin is integrated correctly on release of program.
  • Or a project per plugin? So we can handle the versioning on this plugin.

Thank you for your answer, and comments, Magnetic

That depends on your situation. If all plugins are independant and not related to each other in any way I would create seperate project per plugin.

Hi Saar,

Thank you for your answer.

Each solution I proposed have advantages and disadvantages.

If seperate project per plugin is used, I don't know in Gemini how to synchronize these plugins with a main project, in term of version (version 1.x of plugin to version 1.x of main project, version 2.x to version 2.x, and so on).

Maybe a solution exists in Gemini for this case? Magnetic Core

Personally, I would have just a single plug-in that managed whatever you need to do across multiple projects.
