Everyone Role.

I am trying to set up the security and I must be really missing something.

Are the Everyone and Gemini Administrators have basic permissions that are set under the hood.

For instances, I developed a QA role (so I don't mess with yours). I go into the security schema and assigne it everything it is allowed to do. Such as Create new issues, edit new issues, delete own issues.

I then go into the Filed Visiblity schema for the project and set the fields the group is allowed to see.

I then log out and log in, I the user has permissions to see projects, and to go into the issues area

The list of issues that i know are in the database are no showing up when first entering.

However, when creating no fields are there except title and description.

The only way I can get this to come on is by assiging your group Everyone.

I am not quite understanding. Are there base groups that have predefined abilities that are not controlled through your software admin areas?

Please make suer that you have not given the "only view own issues" permission to these users.

Also, make sure that you have amended the field visibility scheme for the issue type for view, edit and create mode (Edit the issue type to see which schemes it is using).

However, we always recommend that every users will belong to the "EVERYONE" and "EVERYONE (Authenticated)" groups. Simply don't give any permissions to these groups.

Actually it didn't work... It requires everyone to be set to see this stuff...Evne though my visibilty schemas are changed..
