Notifcations
With new upgrade to 4.0 all users are being flooded with emails. Under the Admin Notifications tab, I have selected which fields to enable email alerts, however all users are receiving every email (Created, Updated, Resolution,Watcher, Assigned, etc.)

Aer these users issue watchers? Can you please check that? |

Yes. The person that creates the issue, the assignee as well as all of the watchers receive multiple notifications. When Gemini 3.7 was used, we did not have this issue. |

That has not changed between 4.0 and 3.7 (unless you have changed stored procedures). Issue watchers will receive any alert regarding updates to issues regardless of their settings. What we have introduced and you might want to use is greater control for the user regarding their prefereces. Please check the new email preferences (per project) and consider removing the auto watcher for issue creator and resources. |

No we have never changed any stored procedures, and we did not have this issue before. What do the main notification settings control? |

The main settings control if an alert of that type can be selectd in the user's email preferences. These are ignored if you are watching an issue and the watchers alerts is enabled. |
