Issue Links

How are "Duplicate", "Grouped" and "Related" Links different?

What is the difference between "Inbound" and "Outbound"? Is that like parent issue and child issue?

If a Linked issue is closed, do you lose the visibility of the other linked issues?

Issue links are mainly for information purpose. There is no enforcment on visibility etc... (sub issues don't allow the parent to close if any child is open).

For example, a duplicate link will be created if an issue has already been logged. so you link to the other issue as duplicate and close the issue with resolution of duplicate.

Does it make sense?

How are sub-issues handled?  Again, what is the difference between incoming and outgoing?

Sub issues will enforce a relationship with the parent issue. The parent issue will not be able to close until all sub issues have been closed.

There is no difference between incoming and outgoing links. It is just for display.
