Windows Authentication - Gemini 3.5.4 and IIS7
All,
Hello. I set up Gemini 3.5.4 (build 2435) with local authentication and have no issues. I am now trying to get Gemini to authenticate against our Windows 2003 box with AD. I changed the authentication mode from the authentication mode of 'Forms' to 'Windows' and restarted IIS7. When I browsed to Gemini I get the following error:
Access Denied For User: Contact your Gemini administartors
I am obviously missing a step or steps. Could someone please assist? Thank you.

Please un-check the allow anonymous access box in IIS direcotry security for the Gemini site. |

OK. I did that and enabled Windows Authentication. Still doesn't work. Is there something I need to do besides changes authentication from Forms to Windows and disable Anonymous access and enable Windows Authentication in IIS? Thanks. |

No, do you still get a blank username in the access denied page? |

So everyone knows, the issue ended up being at user creation. You need to use DOMAIN\username in the Username field when creating a user. Just FYI. |
