Customising the Layout

We are implementing 'Portal mode' for users to log their own problems but we would prefer the 'Portal mode' users to have a simplified 'Create Issues' layout. Is there a way of customising the layout?

You can set the create field visibility scheme for these users to hide certain fields.

Thanks for replying.  Does the visibility scheme actually hide fields or just disable input as I thought I had already applied a visibility scheme restricting the view to the inputs I wanted?

The visibility scheme will hide the fields. Please note that a visibility scheme is assigned to issue types, so please make sure that it is set for the create, edit and view of each issue type in the administration screen.
