Image manager does NOT work with Internet Explorer 7.0

web-app

Dear reader,

We use IE 7 and FF 3.6. The first does NOT allow us to upload new images with the image manager, the latter has no problems what soever with them. How come? And: how to solve this problem? The standard in our office is IE 7.
We use Gemini 3.6.5

Thanks for your reply
Margot

PS what is the purpose of gemini.countersoft.com? Should i report bugs there? I cannot log in with the same username, too bad :)

Can you explain what exactly happens with IE7?

You will need to register (top right) to log in to gemini.countersoft.com.

Hi Saar,

We do see the image manager and also the folders here and some uploaded images.
But when we click on upload, and choose an image to upload and click to upload the file, it says: Internet Explorer cannot display the page.

Does it work when you pick (insert) an existing image?

Hi Saar,

Sorry for the delay, but yes, it's working when inserting an existing image.

I can make a new folder but not upload any files into it. A also can move files from one folder to another.

Thanks!

We have tried to replicate the issue with no success. Can you please post the exact IE version (Help -> About)?

Version: 7.0.5732.13co

Could there be some security settings that need to be changed? I have noticed earlier, that FF allows more than IE.

We use AD on the network, could that cause any problems?

Yes, it might be due to AD authentication. I presume you use that with Gemini, do you use impersonate = true?
