"Created by" not visible

web-app

Hi.

Maybe a stupid question, but I can't see which user created an issue. Where is this information?

Regards,

Thomas

You should see that in the reported by field when viewing the issue (left hand side). If it is not there then make sure that the visibility scheme allows you to see it.

I have checked the visibility schemes and "Reported by" is visible to everyone. But I still don't see it, neither in the web client, nor in the windows client. It is not in the lists and also not in the view/edit forms.

Any Idea?

Field Visibility Schemes can vary by Create Stage, Edit Stage, View Stage, and Issues List. Please ensure the appropriate Field Visibility Scheme has this field enabled.

You mentioned earlier-

"I have checked the visibility schemes and "Reported by" is visible to everyone. But I still don't see it, neither in the web client, nor in the windows client. It is not in the lists and also not in the view/edit forms."

'Everyone' is a Global group. Please ensure you are it's member- Security Settings  >  Global Groups  >  Group

Alternatively, you can check which group(s) you belong to (Security Settings  >  Users >  Edit User)  and give that group visibility rights for this field.

Please make sure that the issue type is using that scheme.
