How to set a default value for a custom field

In Project Administration > default Values it is not possible to set a default value for a custom field (Gemini 3.1.2 (Build 2257))

It is also possible to set the default value in the custom field definition. Unfortunately this setting is not taken into account.

Does anybody know how to set a default value for a custom field?

Hello!

Custom field default values can be set Gemini 3.5 + onwards. Project Administration > Default Values

Are there specific migration steps required to migrate from 3.1.2 > 3.5.4

Is there something like a migration manual?
