I would like to see a configurable (enable/disable) option for applying an Electronic Signature when changing an Issue Status.  This would basically mean that a user has to re-authenticate themselves whenever changing an Issue Status.  The rationale behind this is that if you happen to walk away from your computer, someone else without the proper authority could potentially sit down and manipulate your data (Issue Status in this case).  The Electronic Signature concept verifies the data change is being conducted by the proper individual.  This may sound like overkill, but it is critical for a GLP lab.  The Gemini workflow is a great feature in that we can customize our software engineering workflow, however, without an Electronic Signature on the Issue Status (the basis of the workflow model), we are unable to move away from a paper based form containing signatures.  The Electronic Signature concept could potentially expand beyond the Issue Status attribute, such as with the Resolution field.
