v3.1.0: Notification emails shows no Description at all

web-app

On one of the issues that we received the notification emails and facing issue that the issue description or comment don't show up in the email at all. (only with one Issue #).

In the email, it shows "Click here to view the issue", Issue Key:, etc. and all the way down to "Description" (just this line) and that is all it shows in the email.  Another thing that looks different is the "Issue Key:" and "Summary:" and so on, they are all in double space (instead of single space).

I've tried to added the comment, received the notification email, without updated comment (again no description details).  I've tried to updated one of the fields (i.e status) and it shows the same thing (new status shows): no description detail again.

I thought of there is some html format that screws up the email format, I copied the Description details of this issue that we are having problem, pasted it in the new issue that we've opened (shows up the same).  We don't have email problem.

Any idea?

There might be some extra formatting in the original issue which were not copied.
Please look at the SQL table (gemini_issues) and see the actual html.

I opened the gemini_user table and looked at the longdesc column of the issue # we have problem with, it does look like it has different html format than the one I tried to duplicate.

I've tried to copy everything in that longdesc column and pasted in the new issue that I've created, it doesn't show the description details in correct format, it takes all the html tags (<style>, etc.) just as regular text

example for portion of it:

<style>      <!-- /* Font Definitions */ @font-face {font-family:"Cambria Math"; panose-1:2 4 5 3 5 4 6 3 2 4; mso-font-charset:0; mso-generic-font-family:roman; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:-1610611985 1107304683 0 0 159 0;} @font-face {font-family:Calibri; panose-1:2 15 5 2 2 2 4 3 2 4; mso-font-charset:0; mso-generic-

Yes, that is expected as the HTML editor will take it as text. The problem is that users are copying from word / email and pasting. They should use the paste from button.
