Issue filter with [Create Date] or [Revise Date] error

web-app

Hi there,

I'm encountering an error when I try to retrieve issues by using Create Date or Revise Date in issue filter.

I just input '1 Oct 2007' in [Revise <], then clicked the SHOW button.

It's a 'Gemini Application Error'. And in the error log, I can find the error message as 'Error when try to convert string to datetime' and the stack trace is like 'at CounterSoft.GeminiBiz.7cdfe764c33c38b0.3ea65f25dee0cd51(FilterEN b0f684c47236959a, Boolean d837775771246a3f) at Gemini.Issues.BindGrid()'.

Could anybody please help to resolve the problem? Thanks in advance.

Which version of Gemini? Can you replicate it on ours: http://gemini.countersoft.com ?

Did you try your issue with our instance of Gemini?

No. But I'd like to try it. Where is your instance of Gemini?

The issue can not be reproduced in your instance. I just tried.

But I think there are two difference between your instance and mine.

1) The version is different. My version is 1.9.1

2) In my instance, when I finish inputing '5/10/2007' and move the focus out of the input box, system will change it to '5 Oct 2007' automatically. This will not happen in your instance. I think that is the point, since '5 Oct 2007' is not a legal date format for SQL Server.

Thanks.

This kind of date format should work with SQL. Can you use profiler to see if the error comes from SQL?
