Anonymous user (Excel, Print Friendly, Print Friendly (Full) and Gantt) issue in ver 3.0.4 (Build 2
When an anonymous user is accessing the "All projects issue reporting" page and attempts to get an Excel version the new window display a blank page, as for the reset of the options (Print Friendly, Print Friendly (Full) and Gantt) they take to user back to the Gemini homepage with a comment of "Insufficient user rights". Has anyone else noticed this issue? How can you grant anonymous users access to the functions Excel, Print Friendly, Print Friendly (Full) and Gantt?
After another test the same issue happens if the logged in user is not a member of the system group "Gemini Administrators". Is there any other way to allow users to access the functions when logged into the system without granting them administration rgihts?

This is a bug in 3.0.4 which is fixed for 3.1: http://gemini.countersoft.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=1808 |

After compelting the update to version 3.1 and testing the following results were found: The generation of the Excel version works for both anonymous and authenticated users. But the options of Print Friendly and Print Friendly (Full) still do not work unless the user is a member of the administrator group. |

Which version of Gemini are you running? |

The upgrade to version 3.1 Beta release fixed all issues. However, after upgrading to version 3.1 (build 2179) the issue persisted with the Excel view [opens new window and displays nothing and says Done] and Print Friendly [opens new window and redirects to homepage with "Insufficient user rights" notice]. The Print Friendly (Full) feature works fine. There is no Gantt view on the menu. |

I reviewed the Gemini ticket assigned to this issue and it was closed stating that the issue only occurs with anon users. However, the issue is still occurring in our version with users that have logged into the application. The issue is also not only with the Excel link but also the Print Friendly link. What could be causing this if you are unable to recreate? |

The version update 3.11 (Build 2212) has fixed the issues with authenticated users and anonymous users having access to Excel, Printer Friendly and Print Friendly (Full). But now if the authenticated user has access to see custom fields on the Issues view page and attempts to use the Excel and Printer Friendly reports the custom field columns returned now show up as blank fields on both reports types. |

Is this for all projects reporting or for any project issues list? |

It only happens for all projects reporting. The project issues view shows the custom columns for the Excel view and Print Friendly reports. |
