comments in notification emails
We are using Gemini Scheduler v 3.0.4 to send emails when changes occur to issues in Gemini. I am subscribed to see when comments are added to an issue. The emails that i receive when that occurs contain the text of the "latest" comment, but it is all the way at the bottom of the email. This make it much harder to peruse through a list of emails, reading the comments that have been added. Is there any way to modify the template of the email so that the comment appears at the top?

Just modify the template files located below the Gemini Scheduler directory. |

Thanks for your response. However, i am at a loss to discover which file controls the order in which the various parts appear in an email. Perhaps the solution is to do something like swap the contents of the IssueDetail template with that of the IssueComment template? |

Yes, that should do the trick. |

Is this the best way of achieving this? It seems a bit messy. Is there not a config file somewhere determining the order of the components? |

Not sure I follow, this thread is referring to comment location in the email alert. |

Yes, I know. I'm asking if renaming the template parts (eg comments becomes details and vice versa) is the only way of achieving a re-org of the notification emails or if there is a tidier way. From what I've seen, the answer is no, there seems to be no config option anywhere that determines the overall order of the components that maike up an email notification. What I've done to achieve this is to empty all the emements files (changelog, comments, desc etc) and copy theirs contents into the details file and then I just re-org the components within this one file. |

Sorry, got you now. Yes, that is the only way to do this. That is why we have decided to go with templates, so you can take control. |
