SMTP Configuration trouble

Hello,

We have some troubles in order to configure our SMTP Gemini. Everything seems ok for our administrator. It is the smtp of our company.

SMTP Configuration :
SMTP Server = smtp.company.fr
SMTP server port = 25
POP3 Before SMTP Send=No
SMTP Authentication Mode=Auto
SMTP Authentication Username = "a login for our smtp of the company"
SMTP Authentication Password="a password according to the login"
SMTP SSL = No
SMTP SSL Protocol=Auto
SMTP Encoding Type=UTF8
SMTP Service Verbose Logging=No
Interval specified in minutes=5

Can you give us the meaning of this error log in Gemini :

None of the specified authentication methods is supported by the server

Try setting the authentication mode to "none".

Which version of Gemini are you running?

I spoke too quickly.

I receive emails when I clic on "Test" button in SMTP Configuration or when I enter manually my email adress in the field "to (email list)" in "email this issue" window.

But I don't receive any email with the "email alert" :

I checked these points :

- all checkboxes in "Configure Project email alerts" are ticked off for me
- in "my profile" :
Receive email alerts = Yes
Email my changes = yes
- in gemini administration :
Email issue Creator=Yes
Email Issue Resource=yes
Email Alerts Enabled=Yes
Email Alert Engine=mailPlugin

In order to test, I selected the maximum of emails...

What is wrong in my configuration ?

Are there any errors in the log?

Also, try watching an issue and update it. Do you get an alert?

I had this error log until yesterday evening 18h30 (None of the specified authentication methods is supported by the server) and this morning I try the same thing than yesterday (create issue, update issue , add comment, change status...) and I receive correctly email alert and no error log. So, I don't understand the reason but it works.
