It is legaly allow to change the name of the application with commercial licence ?

Dear Gemini resellers (Countersoft),

We are using Gemini (free Gemini licence) since July 2007. After these two months of tests and settings of the product, we are very satisfied.

Our company will purchase the commercial license the next mont but we need to know if you give permission (legaly) to your client to change the name of the application. Because, the marketing department would like customize the name Gemini with the name of our company and do not display any references to Coutersoft or Gemini (if possible).

The short answer is NO.

Generally speaking, Gemini/CounterSoft is names are visible.

However, an OEM License does permit customisation.  But:

1. This license costs considerably more and is priced per usage scenario
2. This license is aimed at organisations such as web hosting providers who want to put in place a generic helpdesk/ticketing solution as part of their hosting service.

Hope this makes sense and apologies if we dissappoint.

Ok. We understand.

Nevertheless, is it possible to add just a logo in the bar in the top (next to Gemini 2.2.1 / Help / Log out...) ? We suppose it is possible in the .css sheet ?

We would like that to indicate to the user who it is at the right place to enter his request (it is just an visual help).

Yes, you can add your name and logo, that is not a problem.

You can change the css for colours etc...
