Web Services - Problem Getting Scheduler Service Functioning + Desktop and Screen Capture Tools

web-app

I'm at a loss on how to troubleshoot this problem I have. In the Application event I get "Error testing connectivity/authentication to client". I have tried the URL I'm putting into the config file + AuthWs.asmx in Internet Explorer and it goes to a page with a blue header saying AuthWS with... "The following operations are supported. For a formal definition, please review the Service Description.".

So it seems like the web service is running (not sure though), but I still can't authenticate to it using the desktop application or the screen capture tool. When I run the apps with the -dc option I get a HTML response in a message box that sasys something to the effect of "The object has been moved...".

Ideas?

Have you installed WSE 3.0 on your web server?

Yeah, I have 2 and 3 installed. Would that be a problem? I installed 2 awhile back and then installed 3.

Try installing the new screen capture (that was releases with 2.2). It might give us an idea to what gone wrong.

Hi mark... When I run the screen capture utility and am ready to submit an image I am prompted for my username and password. I use the username and password that I normally log into Gemini with. I then get a "Invalid user name / password" message box.

I have Gemini Admin permission so I have full rights over the issue I'm trying to submit a message to.

I just got the screen capture utility to work. I had the IP address wrong. Sorry for wasting your guys' time.
