Batch Edit Issues

web-app

Hi,
I'm using version 3.0.0 (5 user free). When I batch edit issues, under the "Assigned To" list, there are only two options: "<Nobody>" and "<Ignore>".

I want to batch assign issues to a specific user. How can I do this? I've played around with security settings and it still shows as "<Nobody>". I assume a query somewhere is saying that there are no users to assign, even though I have 5 users.

Thank you

Hello,

Ensure you have people with the "Assignable to Issues" role.

Hi,
My users are in the Developers group, and Developers has been assigned the "Assignable to Issues"role, but the Developers still do not show up in the Batch Edit Issues page (in the "Assigned To" field) - there is still only the "<Nobody>" and "<Ignore>" options.

When I look at the specific permissions for a user, the role "Assignable to Issues" is missing - there are other roles as "Administer Project,  Administer Issues. Edit Issue, Delete Issue, Delete Own Issue, Edit Comment, Delete Comment, Mark Closing Comment, Move\Copy Issue, Assign Version".

I have also tried to assign a specific user the role of "Assignable to Issues", and that role does not show up in the Permissions list for a user (in any project).

This is a bug in batch update: http://gemini.countersoft.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=1753

I presume you can assign resources when editing a specific issue, correct?
