Can't filter by Reporter

web-app

I'm not sure if it is related to 3.6 but still don't know why I cannot filter isues by Reporter. Can you help me what I have to check? Thank you.

Are you not seeing the reporter filter on the bottom left?

Please click on project administration and check the visibility scheme used for the project.

Make sure that the visibility scheme shows the reported by field.

Thank you! Now I see reporter field. But I noticed strange behaviour of this field. I must type more than one letter to see the popupmenu. Why one isn't enough? Another strange thing is that if I type letters that not match any reporter then letters disapears. I'm using Firefox 3.5.6.

We have fixed the issue with having to type more than 1 letter for 3.6.1.
The search string will be blanked if it is not found.

This is by design for performance reasons. Filtering on issues based on one character is not specific enough.

I agree, but why the character (one) disapear? It is a bug in my opinion.

I'm sorry for my english.

My situation:
1. I have a issue.
2. I need to add issue link to issue R4-4894.
3. I type "4" to the "Issue" field.
4. Wait for 1 second.
5. The "4" character disappear. Why?

Same behaviour I can see with other characters.

Other situation:
How to link to the issue with Id smaller than 10?

I agree with you that popup filter should appears when second character is typed (not for first). But if you type only one character then it should remain. I guess it is the same bug as with the Reporter field in this thread. Am I right?

This will be done for 3.6.2: http://gemini.countersoft.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=3581
To add an issue with a single digit add the project code before (ACME-1)
