Problem with Portal Mode

web-app

Hi,

I have the following problem with portal mode (Gemini v3.6.3, 2590): when a 'helpdesk' group user tries to log in, he runs into infinite redirection like that:

/default.aspx /Main.aspx/Issues.aspx?Tab=Issues&m=1&pi=11 /Methods/User.ashx?action=keepalive

/Main.aspx?ur=1 /Issues.aspx?Tab=Issues&m=1&pi=11 /Main.aspx?ur=1 /Issues.aspx?Tab=Issues&m=1&pi=11 ...

Any suggestions?

Hi,

The group does have view permission because i was able to successfully log on under the same user account and view projects when "Portal mode user group' setting was empty (i.e. before i set it equal to to this new user group).

Right after i have assigned Portal mode user group = my new group, i've started getting login problems for the member of this group.

Is the project achieved?

If not, please send the database to support at countersoft dot com.

Which project do you mean? There are many projects the user has access to (before i enabled Portal mode for his group).

I'm not sure that it is possible to send you a database due to security reasons, will let you know in case it is.

Which project do you mean? The project(s) that the user has access to is any of them achieved?

Hi,

Yes, some of the projects user has access to are archived. Can it be the cause of the issue?

This is a bug: http://gemini.countersoft.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=3702
Many thanks for pointing this out.

The workaround is to rename the archived project(s) so they go to the bottom of the list (put a "z" at the start of the name.

We are looking at the possiblility of releasing a fix next week.
