access to Administration page

web-app

Hello,

I installed the 5-user version of gemini2.2.x recently, on win2003 box, having sql-2005.
I am able to access the application via web-app (using windows-auth).

Question: In the user-doc, there is a mention of 'Administration' screen. How do I get access to it OR what steps I need to execute to get access to it? (in the users table, in the DB, there are just two default-users. I haven't added rows to any of the user or any other tables). Currently, I see a screen-shot that has 'Home' as a menu-item) and has information pertaining to issues/logs etc.

Thanks.

You need to go back to forms authentication and create a user in form of DOMAIN\USER give this user admin rights. Then switch to windows authentication.

I swtiched to forms-auth. Now I see the same-page, but with a separate login/password area at the bottom.

I clicked on the 'if you wish to create a user account.....' link but got the following message:

Failed to map the path '/aspnetclient/systemweb/2050727/WebUIValidation.js'.

I looked-up some old questions on this site and the web, tried executing aspnetregiis -c, for both 20.. and 1.1.x, but still seeing this problem.

Also, after executing the regiis, I still don't see the webUIValidation.js file

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
