REceiving 2 emails for the same Log when Assigned a Resource

Hi,

When i log a bug in gemini. Assign it to a Resource then not only me and the resource person gets email but also the other resources involved in the project are getting it.

And, also it sends the email twice to the resources. I want only the assigned resource and the assigned person should get the notifications.

Can anyone help how to do this.

Are your users configured to receive alerts when a resource is assinged?

I am having the same problem and would like to accomplish the same thing.  ALL people who are a resource on a project receive an email when I assign an issue to ONE resource.  Has anybody figured this out yet?

Did youi every figure out how to do this?  I want to do the same thing.

i.e. If I assign an issue to someone, I only want the resource(s) it was assigned to, to get an email.  It seems that ALL of the resources on the project get an email when I assign an issue, even if it's not assigned to them.

Set auto alert for issue resource in the admin section and tell your resources to untick alert when assigned.

I am on version 2.2

At the project level: Home>email alerts>Configure project email alerts , for each resource I checked only the "Receive alert when resource ASSIGNED to issue" box.

Under "My Profile" for resource, the "Receive email Alerts" box is set to YES.    When I assign a resource to an issue, I only want that Resource to get an email - not everyone on the project.

You need to untick all these!

And set auto alert for issue resource via the Administration -> Notifications menu. Not via the project admin page.
