Problem with Attachments over Proxy Server

web-app

Hello,

following problem:

if we use a proxy server it is not possible to download an attachment.

the download will start, but the file is empty.

But this only happens while using a proxy server. There is no problem without a proxy?!

Anybody has an idea or simular problems?

greetings

We have seen similar issue that was to do with anti virus software.

The Virus-Scan got nothing to do with thit. This was already tested ... we only have that problem if we go over the Proxy. But thanks for the reply!

We are experiencing a similar problem, in the sense that we're also getting empty files (0kb in size) when downloading an attachment.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with a proxy (the network admin says no changes to the proxy have been made), but it's possible. It's not our virusscanner.

I'm just wondering if there are more possible causes for this problem?

We do not think there are other causes.

Can you bypass the proxy to test?

I did manage to check it from locations outside our offices, and we didn't have the problem there.

So I guess it really is a proxy problem then. Hope the network admins can find the exact cause :)

I did some extra tests... and it would appear that this problem is solved by setting your browser settings to use HTTP 1.1...

That still doesn't clear up what the cause of the problem is, but it's a step in the right direction I suppose.

Will keep you updated.

Hello,

We have the same problem with the ember version 1.9.1.

Our browser accepts HTTP 1.1.

Do you have a solution please?

Best regards

Please check that your anti virus does not block it.
