Released version date

I noticed there isn't any way to know the date that a version was released on. It seems to be like it could be useful to know the date of the released version although the table only has a created date. Does anyone know another way to know when a version was released?

Please note that you can use version attributes to do this now.

Will you explain how this is done. I haven't used attributes yet and have been wondering how they can be used.

Sure,

go to the project admin page, and click on version attributes. This allows you to create a version attribute that will have a default value for all version.

Enter Release Date in the name and ? in the value. Now go to the versions page and click on attributes for a released verion, the default value (?) will be shown, click change to enter a proper release date.

Now view an issue that has the fixed in version of the above version. Click on the icon next to the version and the release date will be shown.

This does work and thank you for the idea. I still would like a real database field for this and a calendar control for it on the screen where the released checkbox is.
