v3.6.5 Build 2638

Is version 7 out of Beta yet?

I want to install just the time tracker floating toolbar without the desktop app.
Is this possible?

Yes, we are now on 3.7.1. To download the old version of the time tracker: http://www.countersoft.com/downloads/v36/CounterSoftGeminiTimeTrackerv36_4.exe

Perfect!  Thanks Saar.

How can I be notified each time there is a new version release?
Is there an email notification that goes out to all paid subscribers that there a new version has been released.

I just downloaded and installed 3.7.1.
I also uninstalled the old Desktop app and installed the new one.
Now the new one is just hanging.  It says Fetching... and nothing is happening.
At one point I got a login prompt, but it said that either the username or password was incorrect, but it wasn't.  I tested via a browser just to ensure that I'm not loosing my mind.
Any ideas how to get the Desktop App to load?
Is there a document of all the release notes for 3.7.1?  (please don't point me to Gemini, as I find that hard to use when trying to simply read all the fixes/enhancements.  :)

All registered user will receive an email (newsletter) when a new release is out.

Did you install 3.7 web? If yes, then please check the app.log file: %appdata%\CounterSoft\Gemini\Desktop for errors.

We always keep new features / bug fixed etc.. in Gemini, so will have to point you there, sorry.
The main feature of 3.7 is the project planner, which allows use to visually plan your project work.

Mark, I do not seem to be receiving these emails.  Can you ensure that I am properly setup to receive them?

I installed 3.7 web, though not on the same server that I am installing Desktop App.
Where can I find app.log file: %appdata%\CounterSoft\Gemini\Desktop?

You can find on the PC that is running the desktop app.

This is what it says in app.log.
Seems like there is some sort of object reference.

ANSWER

It seems like you have an image (issue type, priority, severity or status) that does not exist on the server. Can you please check that?

what should I check?
This works fine when I use the browser.

Do you see all the images ok?

Ok, that was the issue.
I created my own status's in the last release and added images to the images directory for that release.
In the new release, I created a new directory for the new release which didn't include those images.  After copying and pasting them in, it seems to be working.

Thanks,

BTW,
You should probably fix that bug in the next release of DA.  If an image is missing, it should not crash the application.
